Atlanta and Back

So on Tuesday I had a flight to Atlanta. About 2 hours into flight a flight attendant makes an announcement "Is there a doctor on board?" Moments later i see a the whole plane slowly lift up their heads in unison. I had a pretty uneasy feeling as just a couple of weeks ago a pilot had died in the air! Several doctors / medical personnel responded to the call and headed towards the front of the plane. We never heard any updates about what happened, and then about an hour and a half later we were safe on the ground.

Flight to ATL

On Wednesday I had my return flight to Las Vegas. About 2 hours into the flight a flight attendant makes an announcement "Is there a doctor on board?" Again, I see the entire plane lift up their heads slowly in curiosity (or fear). I couldn't believe it. 2 Flights in a row on back to back days? Several doctors / medical personnel responded to the call and headed towards the back of the plane. This time there was an announcement. They stated there was some dude with a medical issue but we'll likely just fly all the way to Vegas. About 20 minutes later, that changed. Next thing you know we are landed in Lubbock, Texas. Paramedics came on board, and walked a guy out. Honestly, the guy looked perfectly fine. They made announcement that we're going to fuel up and head out. Shortly after we fueled up. And then we waited. And waited some more. The sky was beautiful. Then the sun started to set. I snapped a picture. Then the sun was gone. We waited over and hour sitting on that plane waiting to take off. No announcements why we waited. About 7 hours after stepping foot on that plane, we landed.
